Procedures & Fees
Photocopies of materials in the collections will be provided by mail when the request is accompanied by an exact bibliographic citation. Contact us for research assistance. The fee is $10.00 in advance, and includes up to five (5) copies. Additional copies are $0.25 each. Large copy orders may require additional fees for staff time. Copyright restrictions will apply in all cases.
Copies of special items, such as architectural drawings, photographs, etc., incur varying fees and charges. For example, there is a handling fee for copies of architectural drawings, photographs, and a fax call charge for photocopies sent by long distance fax. Materials from the Manuscript Collections cannot be copied. Other materials in the general collection considered to be rare and/or fragile, and publications prior to 1926, will not be copied, however we do permit photography of rare or fragile publications.
Reproductions of obituaries on microfilm and of funeral home records are available for purchase for $10/listing. The Jones Memorial Library staff will mail copies via the U. S. Postal Service. Orders may be placed online using the Obituaries or Funeral Home Records search. Orders may also be placed offline by downloading the Record Request Form (.pdf) and mailing it in along with a check to the following address:
